Wrights Organic Reserve Chardonnay 2016

Organic Powerhouse from the Chardonnay Capital of NZ

Wrights Reserve Chardonnay, interesting now but fill your cellars and if you can, wait 5-10 years for utter perfection. If their previous vintages are anything to go by this one will only improve with age and your patience will be rewarded over and over again. Its bold, rich and ripe with everything from stone fruits to zingy citrus and nutty, toasty oak. The grapes (grown on clay and limestone soils, perfect for Chardonnay!) are fully organic and biodynamic and once fermented the wine is aged for over a year in new French oak. It’s also lees stirred and undergoes malolactic fermentation giving us those delicious buttery notes. Grab a bottle, a deep wide glass and sit back and enjoy.

All of the grapes put into this wine are certified organic and low allergen, and biodynamic methods were used during production.
