On the nose soft fruits and honey meet subtle notes peppermint and thyme. The palate is surprisingly fruity with zingy unripe notes and warm almond and vanilla layered underneath. The finish is bright with slight pepper and hot ginger.
Angelo Molinari, an experienced distiller, had the idea of producing a liqueur similar to the anise-based spirits drunk since the 1800s.
