Santa Ana Eco Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

This wine shows a deep ruby red with violet hues in the glass. On the nose it displays blackcurrant and red fruit aromas layered with green peppercorns and spicy complexity. Well balanced mouth-filling wine textured with ripe tannins and a full, lingering finish.

The 'Eco' range was created specially for Santa Ana's most exacting consumers, who were in search of ever more natural products, aware of the importance of preserving the environment. As Santa Ana's director explains: " Organic production is a natural association for us as our winemakers are growers, and they have a vested interest in maintaining the health of the land for years to come to produce the best-tasting fruit. So 'Eco' was the answer to a natural harmony" Luis Capelli, Santa Ana, Export Director

Establishing Santa Ana in 1974, Opi first triumphed at the ‘Wines of Argentina’, where he won the country’s prestigious “Best Malbec Trophy”. Proving that wasn’t a one-off, he then won at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2009. His reputation as one of Argentina’s finest was sealed with a Gold medal at London’s International Wine Challenge.

Watered by the melting snow from the Andes mountains, the Cuyo region including Mendoza and San Juan has cold, dry weather during the winter, while its summer days are hot and sunny with pleasant cool nights. This di- urnal range leads to exceptional wines from single vineyards, including the emblematic La Mascota vineyard.
