Touriga Nacional is one of the most planted red wine grapes in Portugal and is one of the main grapes in Port. It’s known for its lush berry flavours and for making full-bodied, dry red wines. Touriga Nacional thrives in the warm, sunny Mediterranean climate and luxuriates in Portugal’s cool, Atlantic breezes.
This wine by San Sebastião is deep garnet in colour with aromas of blackberry, dark raspberry, plum, and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied with balanced acidity and velvety tannins. It would go lovely with red meat dishes, particularly venison and lamb.
