San Sebastião Colheita 2016

Aged for nine months in old, French oak barrels, this red is smooth with plush tannins and balanced acidity. The nose is a mix of dark, ripe fruits, spice, and leather. The wine has spent some time in bottle so give it a swirl or decant it prior to enjoying it.

This wine estate dates back to 1755. Its Mediterranean climate is tempered by the Atlantic Ocean making it an ideal place for wine grapes that need heaps of sunshine to ripen but cool evenings to maintain their acidity. Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, also known as Tempranillo, do well here.

 13.5% abv.
