Rio Anejo Bobal Rosé 2019

Full-bodied, young and fresh with well-balanced red fruits and a crisp crunch thanks to a delicate line of acidity. Ideal as an aperitif on a warm summers day.

"This pale pink Spanish rosé is made from the Bobal grape, a deeply coloured red grape native to south east Spain where it is named after the word bovale, which means bull (its large bunches are said to resemble the shape of a bull’s head). This wine is light bodied, creamy and soft. A crowd pleasing style with red fruit flavours and an off dry finish." - 3.5 Stars, Joelle Thomson, Wine Writer (2017 vintage)

"A wine for all you foodies out there, this Spanish rosé is pomegranate pink in the bottle, full bodied on the palate and bursting with ripe strawberries, red currants and a refreshing lemon citrus. Rio Anejo use 100% Bobal, a Spanish native named after a bull referring to its large bunches which resemble the shape of a bull’s head. Its slightly off dry on the finish, fresh and delicious and will drink well into the summer of 2020." - 18/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel (2017 vintage)
