Rambling Roses is the sophisticated culmination of insightful and consumer led wine-making crafted in the heart of South Australia. The result is a bright, fresh and pale wine style that over-delivers on flavour and interest.
Sourced from low-yielding Pinot Noir vineyards across South Australia. From the premium heartland of the Limestone Coast across to the earlier picked, dry grown and full of life vineyards of the Riverland.
Blackcurrant like colour in appearance with subtle tanning edges typical of Pinot Noir. The nose is lifted and bright with strawberry plus red and black currants with juicy berried fruits flowing through to the mid-weight palate. The wine has lovely depth of flavour and whilst is a wonderful table wine and food accompaniment, this Pinot Noir also looks great after a short chill in the fridge on a warm day.
89 Points, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit "Beautifully ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, clove and toasted nut aromas. It's succulent and supple on the palate, displaying lovely weight and roundness, finishing smooth and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2023." Dec 2020.
