Quintus Gran Reserva Chardonnay Casablanca Valley 2019

"Delicious drinking. Lots of peach, nectarine, stone-fruit aromatics and flavours. A charming Chardonnay for everyday drinking." - Lynnette Hudson, experienced winemaker and advisor

Chile has a long history of winemaking, but grapevines were not planted in the Casablanca Valley until the 1980s. Close to the Pacific Ocean, the region is tempered by cool ocean breezes making it well suited to Chardonnay.

Done in a well-balanced style, the oak and fruit elements are in harmony here. Crisp apple with zesty citrus and a touch of peach are complemented by vanilla and spice. Full-bodied but light on its feet, the wine finishes with a bright acidity that makes you want another sip.
