Quintus Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon Maipo Valley 2019

"Classic Cabernet Sauvignon but also has the Chile stamp." - Lynnette Hudson, experienced winemaker and advisor

Chile has a long history of winemaking, and the Maipo Valley is one of its most storied regions. With hot sunny days and cool nights, the region is perfectly suited to red grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon.

It’s purplish ruby in colour with aromas of red fruit, black currants, plum, and tobacco. It was aged for 13 months in barrel, 30% of which were American oak giving the wine a touch of toasted coconut. Soft spice and vanilla round out the well-integrated oaky flavours. Smooth on the palate with plush tannins, it’s a wine you can enjoy on its own or pair with hearty dishes.
