Look no further than this ruby red gem from Tuscany. This particular bottling is a mash up of mostly Sangiovese, alongside some Merlot, Cabernet and the lesser known Colorino (bringing tannins to the blend!). Interestingly, during production the wine is re-fermented with grapes that have been slightly dried, bringing a delicious full bodied depth while somehow still remaining soft and (relatively) easy to drink. Try it alongside a hearty soup or stew this winter, or, a strong hard cheese.
