Mount Ridge Hawke's Bay Chardonnay 2020

Buttery, creamy and spicy sums this Hawkes Bay Chardonnay up like a dream. Its produced under the Mount Ridge label which is owned by the Giesen’s, one of New Zealand’s premier wine making families -  meaning the quality is second to none. The grapes are sourced from vineyards from around the Hawkes Bay and taken back to the winery where they go through MLF (malolactic fermentation) giving all those buttery brioche notes reminiscent of a great Chardonnay. At this price it’s going to fly out the door so get your hands on a case before we run out.

A generous, creamy Chardonnay with an intense nose of ripe stone fruits such as nectarines with subtle smokey notes. The body is juicy and creamy with continued stone fruit flavours and a supple texture. The finish is round and lavish with a touch of spicy oak.
