"Marquis de la Tour from Rémy Pannier is one of the most well-known sparkling’s to come out of the Loire Valley, France and is made from a blend of Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Interestingly each of the varieties are picked and fermented separately before being tasted and blended and then fermented again to ensure the quality of the eventual wine. Its fine mousse weaves through the glass and the aromas of melon and apple dance on the palate. Its dry with a delicate note of toasted brioche on finish, enjoy now as an aperitif and with any fresh seafood." - 18/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel
90/100, Wine Orbit "Attractively fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows white flesh nectarine, rockmelon, fig and floral characters, followed by a refreshing palate that is juicy and smooth. Elegant and flavoursome at the same time, offering terrific drinking. $19.00. Nov 2019."
84/100, Wine Enthusiast "Soft and creamy, this gentle sparkling wine has some ripe apple fruits and attractive acidity. A yeasty aftertaste is less attractive."
