This is the embodiment of Louis Roederer style, combining all the fruitiness and freshness with the vinosity of a fully mature wine. This is a structured and elegantly mature wine, with a lively attack and a smooth palate. Brut Premier is produced from a blend of four years' vintages, of which three are derived from its unique collection of reserve wines which slowly age in large oak vats for over five years. The blend is composed of 66% red grapes (essentially Pinot Noir) and 34% white grapes (Chardonnay). From the outset, Brut Premier affirms its personality and seduction: the texture is full and generous and, in a fairly unexpected way, integrates characteristics of maturity associated with fruitier and more refreshing notes. The wine has a fresh festive finesse.

It pours into the glass like a cloud of yellow diamond foam, oozing aromas of cashew nut, breadcrust and brùlée. Pin-prick acidity, delicate bead and flavours of white peach lead to a soft, smoky texture and sexy persistence of flavour.
