Kina Beach Pinot Noir 2015

An aged NZ Pinot Noir at an affordable price. Kina Beach Vineyard has just released some of their library stock and we managed to snag both their 2015 Pinot Noir as well as their 2016 Sauvignon Blanc. Mix and match a case before we run out! The Pinot has obvious signs of age, with a tinge of orange on edges of the glass and notes of jammy black fruits on the palate. There’s a subtle spice of cinnamon and white pepper on the finish which will leave you coming back for more. Drink now!

This wine displays strong aromas of black and red Summer berries, noticeably raspberry along with concentrated dark plum. The nose is also pleasantly spicy with wafts of smokiness. Palate entry is light, soft and gentle. The wine is fruit forward with fine soft tannins and a delicate poise. The palate is short, with raspberry tones and a creamy finish. This is a gorgeous, lighter style Pinot Noir that provides an attractive alternative to their heavier Reserve Pinot Noir.
