Deep ruby colour, vibrant fresh dark fruit flavours and rich spicy notes all combine to make this medium bodied Syrah a stellar bargain. It was made with grapes from the outstanding 2014 vintage so while it is a modestly priced five year old wine, its deep intensity of flavour means it is more than holding its own. It drinks well now and has another two to three years of time on its side. - 4 Stars, Joelle Thomson, Wine Writer
