Hihi Viognier 2016

Another one from Hihi (out of Gisborne), this time a delicious wee Viognier. It’s another white grape from the Aromat family and is well-known for its notes of peach and limestone its spiritual home is the Rhone Valley, France, but we think it does well in NZ too. Its filled with those typical flavours as well as a little bit of vanilla (from its French oak treatment) and honey (from its age). Try it with grilled salmon for dinner.
