El Domador, literally translates into The Fire Tamer – but are they referring to the wine, or the hot conditions in which the grapes grow? Luckily for us, it’s the later and the result is a delicious, balanced and complex Rioja Reserva. Tempranillo is picked from vines which are up to 50 years old, fermented, and then the juice spends a year in barrel before being aged for a few years in bottle prior to release. Typical varietal flavours like plum and raspberry, vanilla and spice are all layered together in the glass - pair it with something meaty to get the full Spanish experience.
Lindauer is synonymous with Kiwi picnics. It's easy drinking as it's a a drier style wine, the taste is crisp and complex with notes of citrus fruits with hints of strawberry sorbet and toasty notes.
