Lively red in colour this wine is expressive and sustained by a pleasant complexity of red fruits. The palate is soft and rounded with velvety tannins and a nice residual sweetness.
Domaine du Grand Plantier has been owned by the Daussant family since 1926. Located in Avignon, it is surrounded by the towns of Vedenes, Morierees, Chateauneuf de Gadagne and Jonquerettes.
This Cotes du Rhone is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourv̬edres and Carignan.
After hand harvesting and traditional semi-carbonic vinification and maceration, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to soften the acids.
Ideally matched with roasted white meats.
Cellar: 4-5 years

Moscato is delicious. There is nothing like that light, perky fizz and natural raciness to make things feel good. Freshness is key and this Moscato has it in spades. Where do we go to find a delightful cornucopia of lightly frizzante fruit. Muscat and the Riverina? It's a no brainer. The region is known internationally for it's exquisite Moscato wines. Abundant sunshine and bountiful soils stimulate the vines to... Read More
