Echenor Malbec 2019 (Argentina) A young, bright Malbec, this one will be great as a weeknight quaffer and will age into something more serious in the next few years. The acidity and tannins are smooth and well-integrated, its spicy and fruity on the palate, with notes of vanilla, cassis, and violet on the finish. Serve with your favourite meat and cheese anytime from now and into the next 4-5 years.

Trapiche Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (Argentina) Bright red in colour with aromas of black fruits and spices. Sot and balanced on the palate, with pleasant tannins and a lengthy finish. Enjoy with a rich red meat stew.

Terrazas Reserva Malbec 2018 (Argentina) Totally opaque inky black at its core with a deep dark red black hue. Alluring scents of dark to black cherry, liquorice, blackcurrant and blueberry sail through the nostrils with some scorched earth, dried herb and spicy cedar notes also evident. Deeply fruited yet also refined and structured the palate is awash with black cherry, blackcurrant and liquorice flavours with a mixture of dried herbs, scorched earth, black olive and spicy cedar lying underneath. Sturdy tannins impart definition. Finishes with a long, spicy darked fruited aftertaste.

Quintus Gran Reserva Carmenere Maipo Valley 2020 (Chile) Carménère produces deeply coloured, rich wines with bold flavours. This wine is packed full of cherry, strawberry, and plum with a bit of spice and mocha. The tannins are soft and mild leaving the palate smooth and plush.

Quintus Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon Maipo Valley 2020 (Chile) It’s purplish ruby in colour with aromas of red fruit, black currants, plum, and tobacco. It was aged for 13 months in barrel, 30% of which were American oak giving the wine a touch of toasted coconut. Soft spice and vanilla round out the well-integrated oaky flavours. Smooth on the palate with plush tannins, it’s a wine you can enjoy on its own or pair with hearty dishes.

Concha Y Toro Frontera Pinot Noir 2020 (Chile) This is a light-bodied Pinot Noir with ruby red colouring and aromas of ripe cherries and vanilla. The palate is juicy with bright red fruits, a smooth mouthfeel and fruity finish.
