Château Rider Chenu Lafitte 2014 has a lovely ruby colour with garnet tints. The nose, delicate and elegant, offers black fruit aromas with a delicate oak touch. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and reveals velvety tannins. The attack, round and fruity, delivers blackberry aromas with a nice spicy touch.

Located in the heart of the historic Blaye region, Château Rider Chenu Lafitte is a beautiful family estate. The vineyard covers 28 hectares and dominates the Dordogne river. Thanks to its natural position, and proximity to the river, the estate benefits from temperate conditions. These natural conditions are perfect for the culture of vine. Mainly composed of clay, silica and limestone, the terroir of the estate is ideally suited for the culture of Merlot. The hight percentage of tis grape variety gives all the aromatic complexity to the wine of Château Rider Chenu Lafitte. Thanks to their experience, the owners of the estate know all the characteristics of the vineyard. To improve the quality of the wine, the cellars were modernised.
