88 Points, Wine Enthusiast, Roger Voss "With 80% Merlot and equal quantities of the two Cabernets, this wine is young, spicy and rich with black-currant flavors and tannins. The wine's structure and smoky character point to aging. Drink from 2022."

In 1990, Véronique Barthe became the first woman to inherit her family’s vineyards since the French Revolution. She has since transformed and modernised the estate into the powerhouse it is today. This wine is a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are located on the West bank of the Dordogne river and get a bit warmer than more coastal areas of Bordeaux. The result is a riper fruit character and smoother tannins than other more structured Bordeaux reds.
