Charles Melton Richelieu Grenache 2010

You don’t often find such a well-aged wine at such a great price, especially from an acclaimed producer like Charles Melton. The winery, which has been around since the early 1980’s is known for their small production of premium Barossa reds, predominantly crafted from Shiraz or Grenache. This 100% Grenache, which has now been ageing for 10 years in bottle, is perfect now. Juicy, rich and red, with tertiary notes of liquorice and cedar developing in the garnet hue it has in the glass. - 4.5 Stars. 17/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel
