Looking to try something a bit different? An interesting blend of Cinsault and Grenache Gris comes to us direct from France. Grenache Gris is dusky pink mutation of the more well-known red Grenache grape, and has flavours of stone fruit and citrus. It blends well with Cinsault to create a wine that’s fruity and bright, a great one to try with aromatic dishes like Thai green curry, Pad Thai, or fresh salmon sashimi.
Grown on high terraces along the coast, the vines are cooled by gentle ocean breezes and thrive in the warm sun. Harvested at night, the grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel.

Founded in 2000 by Claude Vialade, Domaines Auriol who produce Belles du Sud is a forward-thinking négociant – producer of wines from purchased material, producer of wines from its own estate vineyards and leased vineyards, and a wine merchant. It is actively involved in the ecological transition of all its winegrowing partners and aims to establish Occitania as Europe’s leading organic wine region. When Claude took charge of Château Saint-Auriol in her early 20s, it was in state of neglect and disrepair. After years of reconstruction, restoration, planting and replanting, it is now the exemplary 43-hectare Saint Auriol La Châtelaine that stretches across elevated terraces of the Orbieu Valley from Lagrasse to Lézignan-Corbières.
