Grapes for this Monvigliero are grown in some of the best vineyards of Verduno (Barolo), and taken from vines that are approximately 50 years old. The clay soils they’re grown on help to add to its full and robust style which is balanced by a velvety elegance from six years ageing. The wine is aged in a mixture of stainless steel and French oak before being left to rest in the bottle. The result? A delicious, cherry filled wine that shines best when paired with matured cheese, like Parmigiano- Reggiano and red meats.
Barolo D.O.C.G. “Monvigliero” wine grows in the vineyards from one of the best area of Verduno, located in Barolo villages at 200 to 300 ft. above sea level where the average age of the vines is 50 year old.
