Ant Moore Signature Pinot Noir 2016 (6 Bottle Case)

Secret collaborator, artisanal winemaking and stunning value!

Secure amazing savings on this Pinot made in collaboration with a well known Auckland winemaker. We can't disclose who's lended a hand here, but trust us, they know their way round a Marlborough 'Noir!

Thanks to small batch ferments and delicately handled grapes, this is a punchy Pinot that lets Marlborough fruit flavours shine. It's a beautifully balanced and nuanced wine that pours a bright garnet red and jumps out the glass. Fruity aromas lead to a juicy palate that's lengthy and slightly spicy.

While Marlborough might not be the first region you think of when it comes to Pinot Noir, the grape has actually been planted there since the 1970’s and has increased in popularity ever since. The wines produced here are fruity and fresh, with the Wairau Valley giving reds that are more robust, and the Awatere Valley producing wines lighter in style. Ant Moore wines are produced in small batches which result in more complex and interesting wines. The 2016 is drinking well now and you can expect notes of blackberry, dark fruit compote, vanilla and a hint of gamey leather.

Enjoy with lamb, red meat or poultry.
