Anares Rioja DOCa Reserva 2017

Ripe and full, dark garnet red wine with impressions of red fruit, spices, wood and vanilla. This flagship of Bodega Olarra has matured for eighteen months in oak, which gives it its sultry character and burly power. Pour in the wine and enjoy sultry notes of fruit, vanilla and cedar rising from the glass. In the mouth, impressions of red currants, cherries and blackberries, beautifully framed by nutmeg, bay leaf and a nice hint of vanilla. The tannins are still strong. Give the wine some air before serving or set aside for a while.

The wine pairs well with Tournedos and Ossobuco.

Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo grapes. 13.5% abv. Rioja, Spain.
