Amigo de la Tierra Organic Verdejo 2019

Verdejo (ver-day-hoe) is a white wine grape variety that thrives in the Castilla-La Mancha region of Spain. The organic grapes were grown in sandy, free-draining soil, which gives this wine more concentration and depth. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and never saw the inside of a barrel. This gives it a crisp, refreshing quality and lets the punchy citrus and delicate apple, and peach aromas shine.

The Amigo de la Tierra wines were created to produce organic wines that are sustainable and take care of the soil. The sustainability efforts extends to the human population as much of Spain is isolated and rural and requires support to continue its traditional lifestyle.
