Village Square Martinborough Pinot Noir 2011 (12 Bottle Case)

"Martinborough is a small region in the centre of the Wairarapa and is well known for its high-quality Pinot Noir produced by some of the best wineries in New Zealand. Its dry climate and costal influence make it perfectly suited for grapes like Pinot and Chardonnay. The Village Square has used grapes from mature vines which were grown sustainably to produce their version of Pinot Noir from the 2011 harvest. It has deep notes of wild blackberries, smoky mushroom and notes of the forest floor along with heady vanilla and clove. The tannins are there but mostly balance out the acidity and help with a long, elegant finish. Drink now!" - 17/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel

A sustainably grown Pinot Noir hand-picked from vines planted in 2000.

Signature Martinborough flavours of forest floor develop alongside a touch of earthy spice and cherry tartness. The tannins are restrained leading to a long finish with a hint of complexity.
