Well priced, well made – what more could you want? This Syrah is the epitome of value for money, its rich (but not too heavy) aromatic and with a great balance of acid and tannin. Notes of dark plum, ripe black cherries and bramble like aromas are most obvious on the nose, while it’s the hint of vanilla and spice on the palate that leaves you wanting more. Serve alongside any grilled red meat, or simply on its own as a mid-week treat.
90/100, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit "A gorgeous comforting wine; the inviting bouquet shows Black Doris plum, blueberry, clove and floral aromas, followed by a medium-bodied palate that's smooth, supple and delectable. Beautifully proportioned and harmonious with juicy fruit flavours. Great value. At its best: now to 2023."
