Xanadu Exmoor Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

A rebrand of the 'Next of Kin' range, which received a 95 from James Halliday who says,
"This simply is one of the bargains of the year, a cabernet of verve, length, and delicious cassis fruit flavours built on a scaffold of balanced tannins."

Deep red with ruby hues. Exhibiting vibrant characteristic aromas of cassis, dark plummy fruits, and mocha entwined with hints of spicy, toasty oak.

The palate is packed full of juicy ripe forest fruits, with blackcurrant and chocolate characters. Medium to full bodied, fleshy fruits slot nicely into a structure supported by supple tannins, a solid acid backbone and a persistent finish.
