Charles Melton Richelieu Grenache 2009

With a deep colour in the glass and showing a wealth of dark summer berry fruits and a gently earthy side; oak is nicely matched and it's a profound yet young statement for now. The palate delivers bright, crunchy red and dark berry fruit flavours, with terrific concentration and a thread of chocolate amid driving, ripe, nutty tannins. This will age handsomely.
